1. Self-introduction

　　Hello! My name is Li Hua, a girl of 16. I’m in Class 6 of Grade Two. It is five years since I came to this school. When it comes to study, my favorite subject is history and my favorite teacher is the history teacher, so I want to major history in university. As is known, my hobbies are listening to music and reading. I like pop music very much and after school I often do some reading in the school library with my classmates. I’m kind-hearted and good at communication. That’s why I get on so well with others. When somebody gets into trouble I’ll try my best to help him or her. Do you want to make friends with me?

1. My family

　　My name is Li Hua, a boy from a worker's family which is warm and harmonious. There are six people in my family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister and I. We are getting along very well with each other. My grandfather and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My father is a senior engineer working in a big factory. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school. My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the People's Hospital of our county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I am going to take this year's college entrance examination. I hope that I can go to a famous university.

　　2. Our school

　　Our school, BaZhong LongQuan Foreign Language School, is a beautiful boarding middle school, which was founded in March of 2002. When you enter our schoolyard, you can see rows of tall buildings with different trees and flowers around them. There are over two hundred teachers who are not only hard-working and strict but also kind and friendly to us. What impresses me most is that there are over four thousand students, each of whom is clever and diligent. In order to go to contribute more to our country, we study hard in order to go to a famous university.
